This past weekend MUSC ASDA volunteered at MUSC's Martin Luther King Day of Service here in Charleston. It was a great opportunity to get out in the community and to help promote oral health. We had a good turn out of volunteers and saw many very thankful participants. This year we partnered up with the Occupational Therapy students. The kids were especially fun to work with. They loved brushing the puppet's teeth, and everyone was thankful for the fresh toothbrushes, paste, and floss that we handed out. Thanks again to Colgate, Crest, and Give Kids a Smile for helping us with supplies. Can't wait until next year!
