On February 21st, 2013, MSUC ASDA hosted its 26th Annual Vendor Fair to kick off Alumni Weekend! 30 vendors were welcomed into the first floor of the dental clinic, where students of all classes perused the displays. This event coincided with the 3rd Annual James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine Scholar's Day, so our third year dental students simultaneously presented their research in the Drug Discovery Building to faculty, staff, and their peers. MUSC ASDA sponsored a delicious lunch from Hubee D’s before the keynote speech for Scholar’s Day from Dr. Martha Somerman, Director, National Institute for Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIH). Thank you to everyone who made this event a great success! Also, congratulations to the winners of the Scholar’s Day awards. :)
