On Saturday November 22nd, MUSC ASDA hosted its Inaugural "Friendsgiving". Over 125 students and faculty gathered at the Stono Shelter in James Island County Park to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with friends, family, classmates, pets, and MUSC faculty. With 10 turkeys (yes 10 turkeys) and countless sides (stuffing, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, green bean casseroles, broccoli casseroles, rolls, desserts, etc.), there was plenty of food to go around. We also had an inter-class footbal tournament. Each class put together a co-ed football team to see who would be king of the grid-iron. Congrats to the D1s (Class of 2018) who seemed unstoppable in the tournament. The Class of 2018 took home bragging rights as the winners of the first ever MUSC ASDA Friendsgiving Turkey Bowl. Great turnout MUSC! And a special shout-out to MUSC ASDA Social Committe Chair Anna Moorhead who took charge of this event and made it a giant success! Great job, and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!
