The annual ASDA District 4 meeting was held this past weekend on January 9th and 10th in Greenville, SC. ASDA District 4 consists of dental colleges from MUSC, U of Tennessee, U of Virginia, East Carolina, UNC, Georgia Regents and Meharry. From Feb 26th-March 2nd, the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine sent 6 of your MUSC ASDA Executive Committee members to attend ASDA Annual Session 2014 held at the Disneyland Hotel in Anheim, California. Last week, MUSC ASDA hosted the District 4 ASDA conference here in Charleston. It was great to meet and have fun with students from UNC, Tennessee, VCU, MCG and MUSC. The conference included tours of the dental school, meetings on dental billing, insurance, national ASDA positions, and leadership in general.
